Case Study 1: Chaos simplifies selling products from multiple suppliers.
* There are 4 fabric vendors and 3 CMT manufacturers. Fabric vendors are Huddersfield Textiles (for suit and blazer fabric), Scabal (for pant fabric), Gladson (for shirt fabric), and Holland & Sherry (for suit/blazer linings). Three CMT Manufactures are YZ (for suit, blazer and pant), Mel Gambert (for shirt) and Gladson Accessories (for custom belt).
Fulfilling the Order is too fragmented: Order must be entered into up to 7 different systems (3 for CMT manufacturers and 4 for the fabric vendors). Each supplier has different way to track items ordered. Alternatively seller must follow other manual processes required by the supplier.
Custom Care is a challenge: Creating/sending invoice is difficult and providing status updates for orders requires tracking orders in all the different systems from suppliers.
